This invention relates to paint-protecting devices for adjusting and supporting elements on ink tanks of printing machines.
A device for protection against contamination on the ink reservoir is known (German Patent 1P 408421), in which the colorful knife is supported by a hinged retaining strip, which also serves as a drip catcher for the paint that drips away from the ducturer.
A protective reservoir protection device on a paint reservoir (US Pat. No. 2,351,315) is known, in which a rigid protective plate, with one edge against the underside of the paint knife, protects the functional elements under the paint knife from soiling.
A disadvantage of the known anti-contamination device is that it only protects functional elements from the effects of draining, i.e. the paint due to adhesion forces on the underside of the paint knife contaminates the adjustment and support elements in the same place. At that, the paint entering the zone of contact between the adjusting and supporting elements with the colorful knife forms the same paint layer and thus narrows the gap between the ductor and the colorful knife. Thus, the zero point is shifted, which is especially unprofitable when the paint is remotely regulated.
The purpose of the invention is to improve print quality, in particular to prevent color distortion.
The object of the invention is to prevent the formation of a paint layer between the adjusting and supporting elements and the colorful knife without damaging the elasticity of the colorful knife.
The goal is achieved by the fact that in the device for protection against contamination on the ink tanks of printing machines containing another metal or plastic shield to prevent contamination of the adjusting and support elements of the ink foot, an elastic metal or plastic plate 6 is rigidly connected to the underside 2 colorful knife i.

The advantage of the proposed device is that the paint layer is not formed between the underside of the paint knife and the adjusting or supporting elements, and thus the gap between the ductor and the 3 colorful knife does not taper, which is especially important when adjusting the paint supply. The properties of the inking knife are not lost, protection of all functional elements under the inking knife is ensured, and the protective device is easily cleaned. The colorful knife lever 5 presses another side of the colorful knife 2, 584 with the help of another shoulder, setting a slit 1 between the ductor and the colorful knife. A flexible, stretching across the entire width of the inking knife 2, the metapholic or plastic shield 6 is rigidly and tightly pressed through the elastic and incompressible connecting layer 7 to the underside of the inking knife. A flexible metal or plastic flap 6 may have between the zones of contact with the levers 5 of the colorful knife (Fig. 2) perpendicular to the reference line 8 of the colorful knife a slot, which improves flexibility. The slits 9 are positioned so that they do not harm the seal between the colorful knife 2 and the metal or plastic shield. The lever 5 of the colorful knife fits through the metal plate 10 rigidly connected to the flexible metal or plastic shield 6 to its underside. In order to fix the flexible metal or plastic flap 6, the spring holders 11, which are fixed on the frame 12, can also be connected to the underside of the metal or plastic flap.
